Between us, we have specialist knowledge of how the logistics, design and coordination can make an event incredible.

GRACIE - Event manager + stylist

Gracie began her event career in Auckland, contracting for corporate catering companies, wedding stylists and event specialists.

Prior to discovering her passion in the events world, Gracie studied and worked in the graphic design industry. She brings her creative experience into the styling portion of her role to curate one of a kind event designs.

Before moving to Waiheke Island, Gracie was a lead supervisor at one of Auckland's largest event producers working on events from 10 - 1000 people, managing event teams of up to 60 staff members.

Moving to the island meant taking a slower, more personalised approach to events. She transitioned to a role in a local vineyard as their sole event manager, managing weddings and everything that goes into planning them. 

Gracie has a wealth of knowledge on what it takes to create a memorable event that not only looks beautiful but runs smoothly.

BEN - Operations Manager

Ben began his working life in the hospitality industry by gaining his degree in the culinary arts. Transitioning into cheffing for some major restaurants in the Waikato region, Ben quickly progressed to the role of head chef and worked his way through restaurants across New Zealand. 

Travelling and working around the world allowed Ben to find a new love in events. Eventually, Ben realised that his passion lied in the logistics behind the scenes and hung up his chef jacket for good, although he still makes an epic staff meal for us from time-to-time! 

Discovering Waiheke Island was an opportunity for Ben to further his knowledge in the events world and now manages the day to day running of Indigo Waiheke.

From managing hire deliveries, weekly scheduling, customer account management and orchestrating the overall direction of the business, Ben is our operations mastermind.

ANNA - Event administrator

Anna started her event and hospitality journey with a Hotel and Management High School Degree before continuing into a Tourism Bachelor Degree in her home country, France..

While studying Anna worked for catering companies, putting her first foot in the world of events and weddings.

Arriving in Waiheke Island on a Working Holiday Visa, she managed an Italian restaurant, before transitioning back to her first love, events and weddings.

From there, she became the Event Operator at the renowned one-hat vineyard on the Island. Anna took pride in helping couples organise their perfect wedding day and ensuring that everything went according to plan.

Anna has honed in on her administrative skills and has joined the team at Indigo where her excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and creative outlook are a major asset to our team and clients alike.
